So yesterday me and my dad went to Concert At Sea, basically a concert at sea here in the Netherlands. We’ve seen Passenger, Bløf, Ilse de Lange, Di-rect and Alain Clark live and the view was stunning 🙂
A while ago I have recorded a song at my school. I know it contains odd notes and all, but I loved doing it, so I’d post it here 🙂
I know it’s 23:46 PM and I’m watching tv and all while typing this but I thought it’d be fun to post a little inspiartional boost to wake up to tomorrow, containing a quote and a song that passed my ears yesterday night. I’ve been playing it pretty loud throughout my room today but it’s lovely so yeah. I will post this tomorrow morning. Have a great day! 🙂
“You don’t have to see the whole staircase to take the first step”
I guess we all have those nights or long car drives in which we memmorize details or make up ideas. For me, long car drives are very inspiring, just as sitting in my room, rather listening to the raindrops whose fall is being broken on my window, then actually being useful, just for a small amount of time though. The thing is, I used to clear up my mind at those moments but right after I did so many new ideas popped up, and I was back at the start again. I wanted to try out all the ideas, do all the stuff and live all the dreams and never finished them.
We just keep on looking for new things to spend our time on, unregarded the unfinishing, because it matters. We want to matter. We want to leave a mark in the world. If we won’t, what is the use of our existence? (deep wow) So we try and try and try new things. I don’t want my life to be based on montly horoscopes.
I hope that the trying and trying and trying will eventually bring me to somewhere beautiful where I found a real aim, something that I will actually finish. Right now I don’t know where its going. Luckily those tries will only grant us wisdom, and they might help finding a real goal. They take time and all, but they’re always worth trying. What the quote says, “You don’t have to see the whole staircase to take the first step.”
I hope this made some sort of sense.
